Welcome to Pilates 365. A private equipment based pilates studio in Formby. Teaching the STOTT PILATES® method, a contemporary version which incorporates modern exercise principles, and applies proven and accepted practices in biomechanics, rehabilitation and athletic performance enhancement. The STOTT PILATES® exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints.
Pilates365 studio teaches both reformer and matwork. Clients at Pilates365 are able to get much more feedback into specific muscles working with the Pilates reformer and tower, this in turn, creating a more balanced body. The machines can also challenge clients much more by providing resistance and an increased range of movement over traditional matwork exercises. The STOTT PILATES® method is a musculo-skeletal conditioning program, focusing on the core muscles, waist and lower back area (the powerhouse of the body) to improve strength, flexibility and posture, keeping the body mobile and helping prevent or reduce injury, building long, lean muscles by combining exercise and stretching into the routines.
Using the latest V2 Max Reformer machines, offers various angles of resistance, providing an increased range of motion making it the premiere tool for Pilates rehab and cross training. V2 Max Reformers allow you to work every area of the body using functional exercises for greater movement everyday. Using multi-plane exercises help correct movement imbalances, you’re training the body to move effectively in the way it’s biologically evolved to – forward, backward, side-to-side, twisting, turning, jumping, balancing. Pilates is widely recommended by doctors and physical therapists.
