Pilates365 studio teaches both reformer and mat work. Pilates is a series of exercises designed to engage and strengthen your core and lower back muscles, improving posture and encouraging your body to work in the correct alignment. This is achieved through a combination of slow and controlled strengthening and stretching exercises. Clients at Pilates365 are able to get much more feedback into specific muscles working with the Pilates reformer and tower, this in turn, creating a more balanced body. The machines can also challenge clients much more by providing resistance and an increased range of movement over traditional mat work exercises. The STOTT PILATES® method is a musculo-skeletal conditioning program, focusing on the core muscles, waist and lower back area (the powerhouse of the body) to improve strength, flexibility and posture, keeping the body mobile and helping prevent or reduce injury, building long, lean muscles by combining exercise and stretching into the routines.
